I Do Not Like People to See Me Cry

The problem I have though is that I don’t cry. At funerals of loved ones, I don’t cry, I feel sad I just don’t cry. Break ups, again I’m sad but I don’t cry, weddings I don’t cry... it’s not a lack of emotion I just don’t cry.

I know how that feels.. I rarely do cry, and when I do it’s because of something serious, I remember the last time I did cry was a few month ago when my grandmother died, and I didn’t cry the day I was informed, it took me 3 month to process the grief and it finally hit that she was dead....

It takes time for me sometimes to process negative emotions, and think that’s why I rarely cry.
@NicoleA that’s how my mom was when her dad died. She and him had a strained relationship but when it was the end she was taking care of him. He finally passed and a few weeks later she blows up with emotion on the whole thing.

You want to be seen as the strong type. Men stay strong. The old way of viewing masculinity. I think you need a hug.
