What does it mean if nothing excites me in my life anymore?

It could be your age. You could be having a mid life moment. It could be PTSD. Have you fairly recently survived any kind of unexpected, life threatening situation? Are you taking any kind of mood stabilizers or anti anxiety medication? That stuff can flatten you right out. It could be a combination of things.

You need to find an exhilarating activity that's also a bit challenging. That's what usually does it for me. Get the adrenalin flowing. Go take a skydiving lesson or one of those road bike motorcycle lessons where they provide the track and the bike and teach you how to drag your knees through the corners, etc. If you have access to the ocean, go battle some shore break a while until you learn to feel insignificant again .

It could be you're out of challenges with lots of life left to go still
