Manilow copped 90 percent of that for this(he acknowledges it as such). In some cases it sounds like just different chord inversions, albeit with less dynamic shifts.

@uncalled4 yeah, I don't hate Barry Manilow, but he doesn't play the piece well. He's got talent, but nowhere near the level of a respected classical pianist.

@SW-User I don't think he was trying to play that piece note-for-note; he adapted it for a pop song(more than once).

@uncalled4 you have a point. It's a pop song, so he can't go crazy with the time shifting.
