Thanksgiving is only celebrated by about a dozen countries around the world, some countries like UK and Scandinavia calling it 'Harvest-fest', but which coincides with the true spirit of Thanksgiving as we know it.
Just a little fun fact for you to ponder... The festive time of 'Thanksgiving' first got started in North America in Canada about 80 years before the tradition was eventually adopted in the USA.
After it got started in Canada, it migrated to other parts of the world before the Americans actually started to adopt the idea of Thanksgiving for themselves.
The reason that Thanksgiving is called "Thanksgiving" in all participating countries except the USA, is because all participating countries celebrate Thanksgiving within a week of each other, whereas in the USA they celebrate Thanksgiving at least a month or more later than the rest of the world.
It is called 'Thanksgiving' and 'American Thanksgiving' for a reason. That reason is this one month of difference in time, which has more to do with later harvest dates in southern latitudes compared to more northern latitudes.
The only other country in the world that celebrates Thanksgiving on the same day as American Thanksgiving is Liberia which is in Africa.
The reason Thanksgiving is celebrated in Liberia on the same day as American Thanksgiving, is to celebrate the end of the Slave Trade in the USA, which was the day Africa severed ties from the USA when the Slave Trade officially ended. For Africans, that celebration is more about distancing themselves from the USA than it is about having a shared relationship to celebrate the annual festive event.
For Americans, it's about the harvest. For Africans, it's about their emancipation from the clutches of the American government.

I can't believe I wasn't home since September 5. Where did these days go?
@CrazyMusicLover Are you away on a long journey inside your mind again 🤔
CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
@Iknowyourouttheresomewhere No, I'm basking in the sun reading a book. I don't even know where I am in my mind, honestly. Probably in giving up on myself and living one day at time phase.
@CrazyMusicLover Aww don’t go to deep, it will get harder and harder to come back . 🤗🌻
