If you are/were married, were you truly in love with them when you proposed/said yes?

In love? It felt different from when I had been in love before. There was an inevitability to it that I had never felt before. And while I certainly planned to ask her to marry me, I was waiting until we'd been dating for a while, at least longer than 6 months.

I suppose I was in love in the ways that mattered.
