When asked would you sell your children (if a human life is dear to you was portrayed as an object)
In what way would the majority of people respond in the modern era.
There has been times in the past where people did sell thier children and humans were bought and sold for labour. So how as the ideolgy changed in this era and what to we value ourselves as now.

@being im just trying to come up with an understanding of how the value of a person changes throughout the eras.
Slaver was normal for thousands of years, but now its wrong. The idea of some humans being more valuable than others i think stems from national identity. War is not ok. But its ok aslong as we view them as terrorists. Does the perception of the value of a person change when we have given them a label to define them?
We care about our children because they are apart of us but everyone is a child of someone and we are all human. The only real difference is national identity and the beliefs that their nation encompasses.
So is it as easy to let go of your own child as it is to let go of someone else if they have a label to define them as different?
