Why is do we view canabalism as wrong?

@GuyWithOpinions Yes, so what? If canabalism is normalized, don’t you think people would be incentivized to kill? Do we really want to create a new incentive to kill ‘to end hunger’, when we can end hunger by spending less on wars and by eating less/no meat and I am not talking about human meat here.

@BittersweetPotato we already kill, maim and tourcher our own kind over paper money. Eating the person after i dont think would change much. Other than removing evedince from the scene.

@GuyWithOpinions Great, so now we will have more killing. People have incentive to kill for food and are also less deterred because it is very easy to get away with it, “no body” as we can eat it. That does sound so great.

@BittersweetPotato not more killing. We have plenty of murder. Just use all the body parts rather than leave them on the sidewalk or burry them in the ground. Like tribes people still do with animals.

@BittersweetPotato humans are not a benevolent species. If we look at the last like 100,000 years of human history we are violent and selfish. All cultures have murder, rape, theft and war. Some say its wrong to eat cows, some say its wrong to eat dogs but they are all societal ideologies.

@BittersweetPotato i guess in that case, wouldnt it solve the starvation crisis faster? If starving people eat eachother there would be less mouths to feed overall.

@GuyWithOpinions There's already plenty of food in the world. Starvation happens because that food is not fairly distributed and because the supply lines get destroyed. People already kill and eat each other in times of extreme starvation.

@BlueVeins this is true. I just watched a video and stravation canabalism is only one reason. Not all cultures view it as ethically wrong. Thats a fairly new concept actually.There are spiritual reasons as well. Some tribes just eat the people they kill in battle because its really no different than hunting an animal.

@GuyWithOpinions so you want to solve the starvation problem by killing people? What a brilliant solution. Maybe better solutions would be family planning, educating people on it, and on efficient use of resources, wouldn’t they be?

@BittersweetPotato people kill eachother all the time. And we have enough abundance for everyone but its horded by the ritch nations and people. If humans were benevolent we wouldnt have war or famine.
