Has every generation had atleast one major war in thier life time?

We sort of over lap with out parents. But we have major conflict now, our grand parents had ww2, thier parents had ww1, before that was colonial wars, etc. Has the world always been in a state of conflict? Is this how humanity functions?

Sadly, yes it is - to a greater or lesser extent. You mention World War 1 - the world had generally been fairly peaceful for about 40 years before 1914 and the outbreak of the then-greatest war in history. My parents lived through World War 2 - though my father almost did not make it - and I grew up in the years of uneasy "peace" that followed.

@craig7 iv heard weve only ever had 250 years of peace. 200 years with the roman empire, and roughly 50 years after WW2. every other time there has been a major conflict somewhere in the world.

this is how life (in general) works on earth, yes: the strong eat the weak

and the strong enjoy the trappings of their lofty positions until a great disaster (natural or otherwise) comes along and resets everything

humans fancy themselves special, but true prestige comes from transcending this cycle. via peace, love, unity, blah blah tl;dr invest in bunkers

And only afterwards did I realize that politicians is our greatest enemy.

@jshm2 then why are we lead to war? Why do we chose to do it?

Let the leaders fight, time people said no.
