The majority of non-American schools don't have that either. The real question is why some do.
@NerdyPotato Define non-American? Assuming we are talking about western style education I think most do. Or maybe I’m wrong on that? Most do here anyways

@Notladylike those outside America. I know, it's a strange concept to many Americans that anything exists outside their country, but if you look at a map, you'll notice there's quite a lot more to the world.
