So what does the UK royal family do exactly? Do they like rule the land or what exactly?

@Punches The UK is a monarchy. The monarch (King Charles III) technically owns the British realm and all within his realm (and this includes Canada, Australia and New Zealand) are his subjects instead of citizens. The UK Prime Minister is the King's head butler whose duty is to look after the running of his kingdom (i.e. the UK).
