Personally, I have always found it ODD not to toss them in the trash.

@Barny52 No way. Now I think you're my alter ego that logs on when I think I'm asleep. Have you discovered that horse muck contains the worms if you ever need to repopulate? Or that the wormery needs checking for Leopard slugs (who eat the worms) from time to time?

@GeniUs worms make lovely plant food when you collect the worm wee, we have comfrey here i put it in my water but, it rots in the water and makes free plant food but it smells terrible

@Barny52 I don't I'd not heard of it, I just use the worm product in water.
edit: just had a quick look, I have used nettles to make fertiliser before, I assume they work just the same.
