Do you believe that YOU are a spiritual being ?

@LadyGrace I believe that we are animals and our skeletal entity , body , DNA is just as biological as all Primates. Who can say that other Primates won't evolve with souls or a religious conscience

@usher I saw under the Art section here that you like graffiti art. I do, too. It's fascinating how they do that. There are some great amateur artists out there, who have never had any training. That's one thing we both like. 😆

@usher Oh I understand the question. But what is spirituality? Can two people have a definition that agrees? It is such a huge, nebulous term I'm not quite sure what it means personally.

@usher No. Human beings are unique. There's many differences but one is that we have the ability for abstract thought. We have rationality. Animals don't. So just because we have the capacity for something doesn't mean we must access it. I don't believe in spirituality but I still have the capacity for abstract thoughts. But knowing where they come from pushes me towards my belief. I believe spirituality, in all its forms, is a construct of man. We want to make sense of things we don't understand. Animals don't have that burden. So I try to focus my attention on the tangible. Like animals.

@SW-User I think that every human is a spiritual being. It's hard to explain my beliefs without typing up a huge essay about it 😂 but for want of a better explanation, I'll say that I believe that people have souls.
