Another reminder of how old I am

Today, I realized that I actually watched the very first television broadcast of The Wizard of Oz.

November 3, 1956. Seventy years ago today.

I was four years old.

I was 8 then,and we got our first TV set in November 1956 - TV broadcasting here in Australia had only commenced two months earlier.
