Do you ever wish you could be someone else?

All the time, but then I think of my favorite quote.
"The reason we struggle with insecurity, is because we compare our behind-the-scenes, with everyone else's highlight reel".

People may seem to have it all going for them, but we really don’t know what’s happening in their lives.

Not really. If anything, I wish I could be more like someone else, but I don’t remember ever actually wanting to be someone else.

No matter how happy some people may appear, they are either just going through a happy phase of their life or they're faking happiness. The social mask can be cultural and polite, or may have either neurotic or manipulative goals.
Look into their eyes; do they crinkle and twinkle too? If so, their smile is more likely to be genuine.

Not someone else, no. I just want to be the happier version of myself.

For those with empathy, it's obvious that everyone faces challenges, struggles and suffering. It's an innate aspect of being alive, inescapable.

My bestie just acted on whatever task and is in a shared flat with a boyfriend now, graduated with a well paid job. While I'm graduated with a less well paid job and single, because I'm tired of being rejected and my job tires me even more mentally.

"If not yourself, who would you want to be" is a question I frequently ask when people post "Ask me anything you want". Interestingly, everybody has an idea who they would want to be. I may be an exception, I never wished to walk in somebody else's shoes.

Yes, but I guess it's because people are very good at hiding their problems. Just like I guess a lot of people would like to be me, until they know what my life is really like.

No, I don’t believe that anyone have it easy. We all have different crosses to bear. It’s just a matter of perspectives,as well as the ability to take endless shits this life has to offer.

Yes. I mean I kinda like my views about stuff but I'm not enjoying this life. This is not what I signed up for I can't be happy.

Someone else? No, because I love the people in my life. But I wish some things would have been different.
