Hmmm maybe she was just mentioning that she put two and two together, like maybe she was thinking of things to say and that's all she could think of. If she hasn't hated before, it could just be her thinking aloud and saying a random observation.

But I'd be wary, can you ask her straight out?

@SatanBurger I think I'm going to let it go. She's been supportive of me as I've hung a flag made of LED lights in front of the house and bought t-shirts and even a flag cape. I think I was just having doubts because of unfortunate phrasing that she didn't mean.
