Had court this morning. Went pretty much as expected.

Pled guilty to the phone thing. $2,000 fine, no jail time, no probation. Booked and released.

Asked the booking officer if I could have a copy of my mugshot to put on t-shirts to fund my presidential campaign.

He was not amused.

Well I'm glad you at least don't have to go to jail. I don't remember the situation tbh.

@LordShadowfire You are constantly saying it.

@Diotrephes I didn't think so.

Wow. A friend of mine got a couple of days in jail for driving offenses as there were a number in a short time and they could not plead out on the last one and had to appear in court as that was checked on the summons. My friend didn’t think that jail was in the cards, but I went to court and left alone as the friend in question had matching bracelets for a ride to the jail, and accommodations for a couple of days.

I might suggest a voice to text system for your vehicle with Android Auto/Car Play as that would likely be less expensive than another fine, lawyer, and possible jail.

The Shadowfire mugshot tee.

Something every staunch SW supporter would want.

Will there be trading cards as well? :D
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@Punches Of course. And then there's the series of commemorative shot glasses.
