Fun times at 2:00 a.m.

So there I was, half asleep, contentedly playing The Sims 4, and I had to use the restroom. Came into the house from the garage, only to hear my mom walking out the front door. Opened the front door to find out what was going on, and she told me that she had told my dad that if he said one more word, she was going to leave. One more word about what, neither of them would tell me. Meaning whatever it is, it would have enraged me.

So after she drove off, Dad asked me to call her. Which I did. As I dialed, I could hear her phone ringing in the bedroom.

Then, just about 10 minutes ago, she came back, but she absolutely refuses to sleep in the same bedroom with my dad.

This isn't the first time he's done this. He starts thinking in the middle of the night, and then he starts talking, and she just wants to sleep because she has to get up at 6:00 in the morning to go to work, because none of our tenants seem to think it's an obligation to pay their rent, so she has to hold down a full-time job.

For my part, I'm not telling him she's back. He can worry all night.
