Remember the saga of the trailer people, that ended with them somehow being allowed to stay, and actually move into the house?

The bill from our lawyer arrived today. It's in excess of ten thousand.

We can't afford that.

Which means I can't afford the retainer fee for my defense attorney.

Which means I'll be going to jail for six months.

Which means my dad will ԁіе, and there's nothing I can do about it.

And I don't want to live to see that day.
