@Miram thats true home and shelter dont have to be the same place nor does shelter have to be a house.
My question is do u have a place you stay near where you consider yourself at home? In or near the setting in your post?
I, for example, feel far more at home in the forest an hour north of the house i usually live in.

@jehova I hope you achieve whatever brings your heart peace. I have big house znd only use about three rooms of it. And a smaller property where I stay when alone. I try to keep an empty space because I don't like clutter and owning too much.
Life is cheaper elsewhere. Save up and move to a safe developing country. You can buy a small land and live in tiny place and set out tents near it.
You don't have to stay in your own country. It is too expensive.

@Miram yea im happy where i am. my family has two houses! One in the wilderness and one near a city. I am more at peace in the wilderness (forest). Still i gotta be near the city for work and doctors. so u know; adulthood. Even so property is attainable if you find a nice bargain. For now im still healing from surgery so staying with family is nice.
I also prefer simple living. I have a dresser an antenae tv a bed and a stove. A cell phone running water. What else does a person need?

@Miram needs? I enjoy reading my hobby is SW. Im single but thats probably temporary.
Needs are about surival (food water shelter) sure social interaction and keeping busy are nice , but needed? Literally electronic entertainments are NOT a requirement of life.
People seem to have become so accustom to those new amenaties that it is considered a requrement.
Reality is these modern comforts are comforts. For 1000s of years, presumably, we did not have internet or cars or public schools or roads. Civilization is a modern comfort?
The amish survive without electronics.
America's, humanity's, and modern society's priorities are all kinds of flawed.
Needs(requirements for life. (Life liberty pursuit of happiness)?
Thsts it.
Life (food water shelter) liberty(oppinion,free speech, freedom of thought) happiness (novelties vices recreation entertainment?)
To surive the pursuit of happiness and "liberty" are not required. Nice to hace but one can survive without.
Therefore. I NEED food water &shelter thats it. Life!
