People constantly misjudge you when you’re a quiet person

This is very true.

I think people like to pigeon hole others.
Especially if they're pro or anti something.
They want to know which side of their dividing line you're on.

I find this a lot in my work environment.

I often stay quiet on an issue because to me it's an irrelevance....and it should be for them too !

But some people will try and push your buttons, just cos !

Yeah, true. In my case they always think I’m stuck up. And I’m not , I just won’t make conversation if you don’t talk to me first.

Typically, my answer is nothing much 🤷‍♂️
But I feel that I would be disappointing them with it

I feel people assume you're 'passive agressive' if you're a quiet person.
