Wow man you all won't believe whom I approached today. Do you feel the group setting made it harder?
So today while going to Church Street area of our city Bangalore in India which is a youthful, cosmopolitan pedestrian only area, I saw this 21 year old woman who is an Instagram influencer and whom I followed on Instagram several months ago but yeah of course she never replied or followed back as she is an influencer with thousands of followers. I am 25 and just done with my MBA so yeah putting myself out there socially. I recognized her and initiated a conversation with her even though she with with her group of 5-7 people there mostly women but also 2 males. We talked a bit and i shared about MBA freshly done so just trying to socialize with new people. I also asked her name and yeah then I mentioned that "Ohh you actually seemed familiar and i guess I saw you on Instagram" and then her friends said yeah she is a big influencer on Instagram. We talked but I didn't get to talk much 1 on 1 with her like I do in many of my interactions .
That's because the group was big so I had to engage with others in the group too. I also smiled at the other women in her group and this dude from the group also understood clearly that I was just being social and he also had a bro-style handshake with me and then suggested me to go for the events in their running club which is organized every sundays and there i can socialize with many people and make many new friends as well. I asked him where the events are and he said me to just follow their running club Instagram page and I can know about the sunday events and have fun there and socialize how much ever I want. So yeah sounds like a good one tho. So yeah after some conversations I said okay it was nice to meet you all and gave a great day anf he also said me to try to come to the event this Sunday. But yeah I wanted to talk to that woman 1 on 1 too and get to know her more. She was so pretty and I honestly do well in 1 on 1 interactions with women now so yeah due to the group I couldn't do it with her even though the interaction as a whole itself was good. What do you feel?
