Happy Saturday SW. 🙂 What is everyone doing today?

I am currently at Tire Kingdom waiting to have my tire air pressure sensors replaced. I had an 11 am appointment. It's currently 11:37 am and they haven't even pulled my car in yet. ☹

@Musicman Ohhhhh okay. Yeah it's just the one NTB that I know of. Not too many tire places around, but if you google search they'd all pop up then lol.

What am I doing? I've been up since 7 a.m. playing Sherlock...I WON last night's big game...and gave today's game my best shot...till I was exhausted. But it's not over yet. I'll get back to it later on.

Our car had to have one tire pressure sensor replaced several years back.
$200 including labor! 😠

@Thinkerbell I checked with the dealership. They wanted $359 per sensor. A friend suggested checking with Tire Kingdom. They replaced all four for $120 a piece.

Yes, dealers are notorious for selling cars on which they make only a few thousand dollars profit, but then try to soak the customers for repairs.

Those TPMS systems are awful. I disconnected mine on my Accord.

@Musicman I don't recall(my mechanic did the work), but I think even the OEM ones messed up. I can tell you they weren't Amazon, they were Denso or whomever makes it.

I know the feeling. A while back had two new tires installed. Took forever. Was almost six o’clock by the time I got out of there. Charged me almost 900 dollars. Was so tired didn’t look at my tires. Next morning saw they put the wrong tires on. Which of course were more expensive. Had to go back and get the correct tires that were supposed to match the two that were on there. Said I’d get a check in the mail refund. Gave me a lousy 75 bucks.

@gregloa That sucks that's all you got back. ☹ Fortunately after getting me in an hour late it only took 20 to 30 minutes to get the job done. I was very happy with the outcome. 🙂
