Scented candles actually release toxins into the air and it's not good to breathe! I was very disappointed when I heard this 😑

@Notsimilarreally Yes, me too and I quit buying them. And why I liked the meme for saying bigger than.

@WillaKissing oh good for you! They're so common. I mean it's like processed food I guess. There's so many things people use everyday that are so bad, and then we wonder why cancer and disease is out of control. Well 100 years ago, before they put chemicals in literally everything, diseases and cancer were not nearly as common as they are today. People just don't think about it because it's too easy to get these readily available convenient things! And people are lazy.

@WillaKissing pretty much all the medicine we need comes from nature. Plants and animals. Big pharma doesn't want us to know that though

@Notsimilarreally it's not all scented candles, but it is the majority of them.
Its got to do with th fake manufactured scents and even tj paraffin used.
Its also most scented room sprays and diffusers. (And scented laundry liquids, shampoos etc...🫤).
I looked into it, and its such a shame.
If you can find naturally scented sprays and candles made of bees wax then they're ok.
- They're also incredibly HARD to find...and effing expensive🙄
You can however buy natural oils, dab them on tissues or paper or even pieces of wood - and place them around your house ...or use oil diffusers.
Or even throw a few drops into bath water....or the bottom of your shower, and the water/steam/heat helps release the scent.
(Also good with methol/eucalyptus/melaleuca oils when congested).
Its such a shame.
I buy oils and they are SO DAMNED EXPENSIVE!
Yet a chemically scented paraffin candle is $2🫤

@OogieBoogie indeed, I figured I didn't need to mention that or I was too lazy to, haha so thank you for adding what I'd expect most people to know by common sense but 😥🤣🤣
