What's that rich people thing you do, even though you are not rich?

I travel a lot and go on amazing ski trips but I eat very simple, like lentil soup for lunch every day and I buy most of my clothing second hand. but my ski jacket cost 1200$. I somethimes travel for 2-3 months.
