You know what was interesting?

I recently watched a video essay on how to argue effectively on political issues. The thesis was, when arguing with conservatives, it’s far more effective to bring up things like honor and purity and economics than it is to bring up morals and humanity.

It is true, it’s not wrong. And this is the world we live in. As my favorite union rep on here says “do you want to be right or do you want to win?”

Remember what you’re standing against that you have to do this, but also remember winning is what matters. Not winning on your terms. That entire ideology must be stopped for the good of everyone.

Don’t talk about what would convince you; focus on what would convince them. Worry about a world without that heartless opposition another day.

Today is not the day for that.

How are honor and purity not part of morals and humanity? This makes no sense at all. And why is winning better than being in the right? Is this some kind of joke and I just don't get it? It all sounds like nonsense.

@PalteseMalconFunch I'm sorry. I just assumed. If you are a woman I'm sorry. I did not know.
