In imperial measurements like they use in America 🇺🇸 and Britain 🇬🇧, I am told I’m five feet ten inches. That translates as one metre seventy nine.

The US only thinks it uses Imperial, in fact it uses a bonkers mixture of US Customary (sufficiently similar to Imperial to cause confusion) and SI.
For instance, I've just looked at Walmart's web page for soft drinks. All the large bottles are two litre even though the price per unit is given in cents per ounce.
