How is it even possible to maintain a 'routine'?

I find myself just impulsively doing things outside of stuff I need to do every day. It's hard to imagine me being motivated enough to go to the same cafe for a week. Or walk to the same place. Or whatever routines are comprised of

Is that bad?
People seem weirdly convinced that routines are good.
They are, at best - a bandaid- a stepping stone.
Living to a routine is basically programming.
A program may get you up and running, but it doesnt do much for freethinking.

A program can instill habits, but theres more to life than habitual living.

I think you are misreading what morivation is.

Is it motivational to do the same thing over and over, or is it motivation that inspires you to live beyond it ?
