Moving 900 miles away from my dog

Leaving my dog behind as I head off to start a new chapter is one of the toughest things I've had to do. I'm moving 900 miles away, and it's really tough to leave him behind. I wish I could take him with me, but the place I'm going doesn't allow pets. It's going to be so hard being away from him, even though my sisters will take care of him. I feel so empty without him by my side. I have no idea how long we'll be apart, and I don't know if I'll even be able to visit him. Every time I think about leaving him, I just want to stay with him even more. 😩

I left a german shephard that I raised. Hes a military dog now. Im proud of him. I still have his dog tag on my home keychains. 🐾

That's hard. At least you can take comfort in knowing he's going to be well cared for. We get attached to animals.

@Blondily I wish I'm entitled to do that, but unfortunately I'm not. And even if I can take him, I don't think I can take care of him since I'll be working while studying
