I had an incident recently......

Yesterday,I was walking into a store ,and a woman opened a door for me.I have good manners,and usually offer thanks when someone does that for me.But that day my mind was occupied and I said nothing.The woman scarcastically blurted out "THANK YOU."I know that I was technically wrong not to thank her,but I didn't care for her arrogance and smarmy attitude.So I smiled and replied :"You're welcome -but don't expect me to make a regular habit out of it!"

@DavidT8899 No. she wasn’t
She held the door and you completely ignored her and she was right to say sarcastically thank you

@Strictmichael75 Well,I disagree .In that situation,two wrongs didn't make a right.

@Strictmichael75 True,and I admitted my wrong in that.But she was just as wrong to be snide.

@DavidT8899 she wasn’t snide!
She was right to say thank you as you ignored her

@Strictmichael75 It was meant as a snotty remark;she was wrong to do it .
