Do you need to start experiencing what life had to offer at 50 like it's something special you're unlocking?

TBH I think when I turn 50 next year it won't feel any different to this year. Each day comes one at a time.

Do 'mature milestone' birthdays have much significance to you and/or your social circle?

50: Time to get a colonoscopy. Enjoy.
I started my life again at age 51 when I divorced. I think each decade brings new changes, some good, some bad. I live happily and simply. Freedom sings.

I turned 50 last year. I big deal to me. Let’s see if I can say that at 60 lol.

@Jonjdw Did you have people make a big fuss over it?

50 brought menopausal insanity to the party so that felt a bit different. 🫤

@JustNik That's true yeah you don't 'feel' as 'hormonal' since the cyclesync technology of mentruating is (for most at 50) passed.

It actually hit me at 55. It struck me that I truly was OverTheHill. I was now in the midst of the second half of my life. Mentally there are not much changes, but your body definitely lets you know it is getting older in different ways.

Enjoy the last of your 40's.

The only two birthday's I felt different were 16 I could start driving and 21 I could buy booze. Never was a big drinker but you know well I got seriously sick a few times.
