How would you react if your woman surprised you with a abortion?

How would you feel if you were sleeping with a steady girlfriend for a year, everything was going great, moved in together, and one day you get back and see her sleeping early in bed. You crawl in under the covers and start running your fingers along her hips, and she lovingly rolls away from you, turning her back saying "Not tonight honey, I just had a abortion" and then falls asleep like nothing just happened.

A) Id have married her by that point. B) Id be devastated and our relationship might be over. She would have just killed my son or daughter and that's...that's beyond horrible.
@TexasDude
...let me guess... you don't support a woman's right to an abortion, right? 🤔
TexasDude · 31-35, M
@swirlie Of course I don't support the "right" to kill an innocent human being! No sane person should.
@TexasDude
So, then, it's okay in your Texas-bred mind for a girl to get raped and impregnated by her father, or become pregnant from her brother, to then give birth to that child instead of aborting it for the sake of all concerned?
TexasDude · 31-35, M
@swirlie Why on earth should I dignify your insult with a response? You led with an attack on my home and my mind so bye bye!
@TexasDude
Actually TexasDude, you're too cowardly to answer my question because you know that I already know that you would not support abortion, even if a girl got pregnant from her own father.

You're from Texas and I already know how Texans view incest. That's why you do not support abortion under any circumstances, no matter what those circumstances.
TexasDude · 31-35, M
@swirlie Believe what you like. I'm just not responding to insults, which you added another by calling me cowardly. There's too much of that online

Seriously, all these ad hominem attacks on our world are disgusting! When did our society lose the ability to talk like civil adults even when we disagree? There's no need to ever insult someone
@swirlie You two should have a baby.
@TexasDude

Blah, blah, blah, why are you avoiding my question?

Just answer my question and save your Texas right-winged rhetoric for someone who shares the same attitude toward women that you do.

Now, answer my question.

@swirlie @TexasDude okay, just wanted to throw this out there. You understand, that there's a simple solution to all this b.s.? If the government, pro-choice (I'd even say pro-life since nobody actually wants to be realistic) actually cared enough about women that are victims of incest and rape, why don't they give something similar like Plan B or something even more effective to deal with the aftermath of the crime? Maybe make it available to where if an incident occured, that one could receive it from hospitals while they're being swabbed for evidence to build a case. If not, have it at locations where it's available 24/7 and OTC for emergencies like that. Nope, instead of solving the solution, we all bought into being divided for whatever b.s. reason we'll never know unless our political leaders decide to out each other. I don't believe in murdering babies but I'm not ignoring the fact rape and incest occur. So therefore, nip it at the bud.
TexasDude · 31-35, M
@RedGrizzly Yeah. I just worry Plan B will abort.a fertilized embryo. Maybe Im misunderstanding though
RedGrizzly · 26-30, F
@TexasDude Ideally, you'd take it right after intercourse whether you know you're pregnant or not. The egg, fertilized or not, isn't developed enough to be a fetus. More akin to like a living cell in the body. I don't believe in waiting any longer than that to decide..."omg, I'm 3 months pregnant! Abort." And definitely not, "I just had a baby but it's an abomination of my dad, brother, rapist! Abort."
Because that is murder regardless and honestly the push for pro-choice lawmakers to allow abortion of a living baby is just to:
1. Make money in some way.
2. Organ harvesting.
3. Playing politics (gotta have more division, act like they give a damn, so that they'd have a good enough distraction for something else or come in like a white knight and win an election).

Remember, just because this country was founded on freedom doesn't mean we're not corrupt 250 years later.
@RedGrizzly you worded that in a way @TexasDude might think he has to take the Plan B pill right after intercourse.
RedGrizzly · 26-30, F
@Dignaga I'm sorry wasn't expecting that and if I wasn't clear, the LADY takes the pill. I mean, if I was in the situation of rape, incest or not, I'd do birth control on the guy with my hand dandy 9 mm...so there's that sort of prevention available as well. 😂😂😂
TexasDude · 31-35, M
@RedGrizzly Even then a fertilized egg is a human being and I'd hate for them to die. However, you do make good points.
RedGrizzly · 26-30, F
@TexasDude Even so, I don't think (been a while since I've learned about anatomy) an egg is immediately fertilized right after a man ejaculates. To my understanding, the sperm has to travel from uterus to fallopian tubes. Takes a while to get pregnant. Something like plan B, basically initiates a period, within the same day, and that egg gets expelled and the entire uterus just sheds everything. So, that's why I proposed that it would be taken right after the incident immediately. And I agree and will admit, is a single cell egg gets fertilized just then and someone takes a contraceptive like plan B at that point...is it murder? Even more so, the egg is already living unfertilized (just doesn't have the other half of DNA but still a human living cell) and it gets evicted every month naturally...is that death of a human? It's tough to pin point at when this miracle of creation is considered a separate human being....so it's better to either be armed, don't be a self-fulfilled prophecy by the woman going to sketchy places or making poor choices, and in case of emergency out of one's control have something right after to prevent pregnancy.
TexasDude · 31-35, M
@RedGrizzly That's a good point. It can take a few days, I believe to become pregnant. At least a day. There is some time. So good point
RedGrizzly · 26-30, F
@TexasDude well, thank you for not being vile with me through our convo. :) Politics is a heated subject but just wanted to shed light and maybe mend the division going on. Appreciate you in taking the time to read all that.
TexasDude · 31-35, M
@RedGrizzly You're welcome
@TexasDude

You still haven't answered my question about a girl getting an abortion who was raped by her father or her brother, which assumes we're dealing with a fertilized embryo which seems to be a deal-breaker in your mind?

Are you suggesting that it's more desirable for the girl to give birth to a baby conceived through an act of family incest, than to abort that fetus at the first sign of it being a fertilized embryo?
RedGrizzly · 26-30, F
@swirlie With all due respect. Seriously, with respect. What is your goal here? I've laid out solutions that would benefit BOTH sides of the argument basically nulling the motion to sit around berating each other? So why even try pointing fingers with the notion to make him out to be a horrible person. No one supports rape/incest and the consequences of it, but we're all told two narratives and you're either one or the other. IT ISN'T EVEN BASED ON REALITY because I've laid out several solutions to end the need to be at each other's throats on the topic. So really, what is your end goal here? A pissing match to virtue signal or actually become part of a solution?
@RedGrizzly
My goal has already been outlined long before you even showed up here. Do you not read much, or is it just that you have a comprehension issue going on about rape, incest and abortion?
TexasDude · 31-35, M
@swirlie So you continue to be rude to people yet you want answers? Wow, that's messed up
@TexasDude
I'm still waiting for your answer to my question about girls who get raped by their father or brother in Texas and why you don't think they qualify for an abortion, TexasBoy.
RedGrizzly · 26-30, F
@swirlie Weird flex. I've been here after a year since this site began, just deleted my original account after a few years long hiatus. Not like that matters. As a SA victim, I can tell you first hand on what rape is like so sit down.
Regardless of your provocative, I hope you find peace and joy in your life because obviously you need it.
TexasDude · 31-35, M
@swirlie And I'm waiting for you to stop being rude and/or stop name calling. I refuse to reward rudeness with an answer
