My posts about my home building are not bragging folks.

It is because I have been asked a lot about my progress in the past months, and I have been asked countless times to share progression pictures. Definitely not bragging or boasting, just sharing with my friends here that have asked me to do so.

Please know I humbly wish all the best that life has to offer you all.

Sincerely,
Willa.

We’re having a home built as well, and just got an e-mail today letting me know that the fixtures for the kitchen and dining room are now ready to be picked up....so I know the feeling, and know that it’s not bragging as much as appreciating the progress (our place is being built new, so we can’t even go into it yet....we based our selections from having seen the model).

@DragonFruit I am doing my build all by myself and got help getting it up and framed in and covered to dry seal it from weather. Every inch of the build has been out of my mind from a log home book combined with Post and beam building knowledge that I have. No blueprints or plans or designer help. A true cold ground up operation out of a log home book picture of a log home half the size of what I am building. The rest has been all my mind and my own hands blood sweat and tears.

I have had Electrician help in the wiring and when I get to the plumbing two areas, I am weak in as well as HVAC.

@WillaKissing Very nice....I’m having my place built in a community on Long Island. The builder is the same guy who built my sister-in-law’s house 30 years ago....brother-in-law gave a great recommendation (and he’s very particular). I applaud you for taking on such a project....I’d stay in my current place before I’d do that.
