why do some young people blame old people for all their problems?
why dont they solve the problems and get on with their lives,?

I see this more in reverse. Where I am it's typically older people blaming the current generation for the state of the world.
It never really made sense to me. We've only been able to vote for like...what...two election cycles now? Maybe 3?
In just 3 cycles we ruined the whole world? Come on now lets get real.
And in my daily life honestly I see older people clinging to positions that they should probably let go. Refusing to pass the torch. Their motivations are obviously not what they should be; they want to coast whereas it is their duty to be ambitious on the behalf of those they represent. The fight is gone out of them and we desperately need warriors right now.
That last part is highly specific to my life and the organization i am a part of but still 🤷🏽♂️. This has been my experience.
