But I am happy that I sold a farm tractor today and paid off a loan freeing money to put towards my home build, and I am going to a birthday party for a cousin tomorrow where my daughter asked to see me at (I have not seen her in person since 12-18-2022), and I will dress up and drive home after wards as Wila.

So, all kinds of reason to be happy today and tomorrow.

@Musicman I raised both my son and daughter on my own from ages 12 to 18. My son went into the Army at 18 and my daughter when she turned 18 went to college and vent back with mom that lived beside the college to save Housing costs. At age 21 on 10-21-2019 my son died of suicide and because he followed me into the Army, I caught the blame of mom and daughter.

I sent her a telephone message of Happy Valentines Day and that I loved her (My daughter, not the ex for those dumb enough to ask), and the next day my daughter texted me to have me to have lunch or dinner with her. Seeing how we were both invited to my cousin's birthday party, and we will both long drives to get there or to see each other it made sense to meet at the party. I will have a two-and-a-half-hour drive on away and my daughter a forty-five-minute drive from another.

@WillaKissing I remember you saying about your son. 💔😢😢😢 That was terrible. I am really glad that she wants to see you though. This is really exciting. 😊😊😊😊😊 I hope you two make up and have a relationship again. 💖💖💖💖💖

@Musicman All positive in my mind. My daughter was my hunting and fishing buddy and a daddy's girl, and I welcome all that back into my life. My son was my military wingmen, shooter, and race car guy. So, I am happy to at least just see my daughter.

And no my glamming is my own personal private way to deal with PTSD. Once I leave the party, I will find a place to do make up and suck and then dress glam and have a solo adventure coming home.

@WillaKissing Ah, I just learned something new about you. We all cope in different ways, and I'm glad you can find contentment many former military never can/could; like your son. This is where I must also thank you for your service, as I don't believe I have before. I'm awfully fond and grateful for all who serve.🇺🇲❤️
