Self love or 'self care ' can be quite hard for some.
Basically its taking time out to realise an enforce protection and care for oneself.
-It can be things like learning to set boundaries with others.
-Saying "no" sometimes, instead of always doing what others want.
-.it can be delegating some work to others instead if taking it all on yourself.
- its rest
- its enjoyment of personal interests.
- it can be allowing oneself small luxuries like sleeping in, going shopping for oneself, getting a manicure or a massage or going to the movies.
-.its looking after oneself mentally, emotionally and physically .
- Having 'me' time.
- It can even be something like learning to ask for help, instead of struggling all on ones own.

A lot of people struggle with self love. They have been conditioned to think its selfish, or that giving and doing for others is so good, they forget to give and do for themselves. Some even g4t to the point where they feel guilty about ever wanting anything for themselves.
Some people can even forget what it is to want for themselves so much, they dont know what self care is anymore.

Basically, self love is love, consideration and care that you would do for others, that you do for yourself, or ask others to do for you :
" can you do the dishes tonight, i really want to lay down".
"Its a sunny day, im going to the beach"
"Tonight im going to cook something I like"
"No, you can put your own stuff away"
"Can we watch something i like instead?"

Its not just about doing stuff for yourself, its also about learning to speak up for your needs and wants as well - letting others know you require a little care and consideration back .

If you have trouble understanding what it is, go look ar the list of human rights, its a good baseline for understanding what every human should deserve.
