Adding to my joke today - I know I shouldn’t have done this, but I am 83 years old

I’m not quite as old as the people in my joke today, but on our way home from a holiday that was more about going to places many NZ’ers and tourists would never go we stopped in at a very popular tourist spot for a snack lunch.
An elderly couple two in front of us took just under 10 minutes to order. I couldn’t quite see them but I estimate they paid over 200 small change coins for what they were buying.
The expression on the workers face (pictured) was nothing but accepting, patient and polite while they placed their order,
but as she swept the last cupped handful of coins into her hand and sorted them into their right compartment I couldn’t but help notice a slight eye roll. Lol.

I don’t think I would do that in a line like a drive through at a McDonald’s but I have paid bills with change 🙃 I’ve paid rent in one dollar bills . I save my change just for special occasions like that. 🙃
