My exboyfriend of 6 months broke up with me

Because I lack emotional immaturity and react quote "like an immature 14 year old" but got so mad last night after reaching out after not talking to me after a week of breaking up with me that I didn't want to be his friend. My thing is why do you want to be friends with someone who quote is emotionally draining for you?

I'm sorry about what happened, that's really hard. When we say "let's be friends", it means the same as "no hard feelings" or "let's call a truce".
I think you are wise not to be his friend right now. Maybe down the line you can be, but for now just stay away. Unless you have kids together, then there's no reason to stay in contact. Don't reach out, but don't lock him out either. Try to keep the cyber stalking to a minimum if you can.

@GohantheThird do you think he’ll ever regret the breaking up?
@lilangel It's too soon to tell at this point. No contact does wonders though

@GohantheThird he reached out last Saturday after he broke up with me a week prior asking me to be friends and I said no, then he proceeded to tell me I was being a brat and that validated his decision in breaking up with me. I couldn’t be just his friends that’s why I said no. Then today happend. I rejected his message about being friends and now he officially said bye, so I have no idea now.
@lilangel next time he writes you, don't respond. This dude is being super flip-floppity right now, so even if he seems interested it's not valid. Just move forward with or without him.
