Did someone in here call you insightful and wise?
@Unlearn Sort of. I received four notifications on a comment that I submitted. When I clicked on the link in the messages, my comment had been deleted. My comment was insightful and wise, but now there's only my opinion to say so.

@notyouraveragedummy Suggestion.

Take it up with the admin. They can and have been wrong and at times reinstated the post.

If not they will likely show you what was insightful or insensitive. They have done that as well.

Must note often the admin don't even see the post. So they might not know of your situation. Why it's best to PM such cases.

The algorithm often marks or deletes posts as needed when repoted by many. Not just one yet many with a good reputation.

So PM them with the notification link.
@DeWayfarer How to PM and who is at the other end of PM?

@notyouraveragedummy You may do so through this profile: @SW-Admin

Not a good idea to do so directly to the admin even though they have answered before.

You as well can contact via email: support@similarworlds.com

@notyouraveragedummy see this post as well regarding sensitive posts.

https://similarworlds.com/groups/admin-announcements/3275715-NSFW-Removal-of-Inappropriate-Usernames

It does apply to posts and replies as well.
@DeWayfarer Actually, I don't think it was Admin. that deleted my message, I see this on that original post:
"This message was deleted by the author of the main post."

I used no unacceptable words in my message. I may have called the posting "ignorant", in the most polite way of course. All the other posts on that message were in agreement with the original message.

If it's true that the original author of the message deleted my post, then there's nothing I want to do about it. It's obvious that that author would have no interest (or understanding?) of insight or wisdom. I can deal with that.

@notyouraveragedummy that's a user thing not a site thing and could be for totally irrelevant reasons.

You see EVERY user can delete replies on their own post without ANY reason.

They could just plain dislike you for whatever reason.

I've had people block me just because I didn't "like" their post or because I'm old. Same applies to deleting replies. 🤣🤷🏻‍♂️

And they can as well report you.
@DeWayfarer I think you're right. That person just didn't like my post. As I said, I can deal with that. Thanks for your input.

PS. I'm also old.
