Expectations?

Apparently, anyone with insight or wisdom is not welcome here.
Anyone?? Kind of painting an entire group of people with a broad brush of negativity here, aren't you?
@NoThanksLeon No, the "anyone" in the post was referring to myself. I totally agree about a broad brush! I expanded on my original brief comment somewhere below.

Ahahaha yup … lotta folk round here cannot handle it, they prefer their own misery being validated by more miserable people

Did someone in here call you insightful and wise?
@DeWayfarer Actually, I don't think it was Admin. that deleted my message, I see this on that original post:
"This message was deleted by the author of the main post."

I used no unacceptable words in my message. I may have called the posting "ignorant", in the most polite way of course. All the other posts on that message were in agreement with the original message.

If it's true that the original author of the message deleted my post, then there's nothing I want to do about it. It's obvious that that author would have no interest (or understanding?) of insight or wisdom. I can deal with that.

@notyouraveragedummy that's a user thing not a site thing and could be for totally irrelevant reasons.

You see EVERY user can delete replies on their own post without ANY reason.

They could just plain dislike you for whatever reason.

I've had people block me just because I didn't "like" their post or because I'm old. Same applies to deleting replies. 🤣🤷🏻‍♂️

And they can as well report you.
@DeWayfarer I think you're right. That person just didn't like my post. As I said, I can deal with that. Thanks for your input.

PS. I'm also old.

Sure hope that's not true?! 😐
@Bertie It is true. Did you read my explanation below?
Bertie · 46-50, F
@notyouraveragedummy Yes, I saw it after I posted.
This message was deleted by the author of the main post.
@ninalanyon That was fun! You obviously missed the point.

@notyouraveragedummy On the subject of points: what was the point of deleting the response you were responding to?
@ninalanyon Because you didn't take into consideration all of my comments following my original statement, it seems that you missed that I was evaluating the whole situation in a humorous light. I was amusing myself further by deleting your post as mine had been. You either see it or you don't.
