Do you vote by mail (Absentee/Mail-in) Ballot? Applies to U.S.

I do and just realized it was time to get my application in for an Absentee ballot (I'm over 60) for November's election.

Vote! Don't let your voice go unheard!

EDIT: Please, I don't care what party you vote for and don't care to get into any debates on politics, just vote! If we, the citizens don't do our job, then we have no right to complain when elected officials don't do theirs.

I vote by mail because it appears to be the only way I can guarantee getting a ballot.

In 2016 my precinct ran out of ballots. The voter turnout was much higher than expected, and they just didn't make enough. They even ran out of provisional ballots.

I was told to wait until somebody from the supervisor of elections office got there. I left when I couldn't wait anymore. I was partner in a business at the time and had work to do. So I didn't get to vote.

I like it because I get the ballot, and return it, before the local political advertisements even start. I like it because I don't have to cross any lines of people screaming with signs to get to a polling place. And I can check on line that my ballot was counted. I can't do that will ballots submitted in a polling place.
