You ever ruin a good thing bc you knew you werent worthy of it?

It was hard, but it would have been harder to let myself fall for you even more knowing one day, when you see who I really am, I'll have to watch u leave like everyone else.

Yes, I used to. It was what I called my self destruct mechanism.
When things were looking good, going okay, I would do something to bring it all undone.
As if saying to myself - "Don't go getting too big for your britches, Gusman, you belong at the bottom of the pile, you unworthy piece of......"
