I am feeling uncomfortable on current job. I felt sick many times there. I fell sick last week and because of that I took leave. I don't want to go there again. 😢
I would still make an attempt to go back to work, but at the same time make earnest attempt to look elsewhere for something better. To be honest sometimes quitting a job before finding another, doesn't look good on a resume...Hope you find happiness in what you want in a career. Good luck
@DesiDudeJ04 In that case maybe you should quit so you can use all your time find something else.... as it can be hard to do while working, If it is affecting your well-being that much.
If you can directly associate getting sick from being at work, whether it's from the chemicals there or germs you come into contact with, etc... and are uncomfortable, the time to start looking for another job has already past. Freshen up your resume and get on the ball job hunting. If that's the case at work, sounds like you're not the first or only one to have experienced it.
@PatKirby i am in a construction field. It is not about the germs or chemicals. It's about mental health and future of my career as well as family responsibilities. Current job isn't giving security to all of that. The money I am spending is much more than I am earning.
@DesiDudeJ04 I hope you find something soon too. For the meantime just put up with the crap and earn what you can, I'm sure you're better off than if you didn't have a job.
