Why aren’t arcades big anymore?

Are they not profitable

Just seems like a cool place to hangout. The cool lights and colors and noises

there's an arcade bar a block from me and a pinball bar not too far away. most of those games are decades old

@StygianKohlrabi what’s the scene look like? Who comes and plays? Is it a weekend thing? 👀 🍿 is it profitable

@DeluxedEdition mostly a young to middle aged crowd. Nothing unusual. It's open every night and pretty busy. They serve pizza and snacks as well so I'd say a it's 20s to 30s mostly. one middle aged moron got mad at me for setting my drink on the pinball machine
