Do you know who you are? Do you like who you are?

If yes, what do you like about him/her?
If not, what would you change? How are your efforts in changing?
JustNik · 51-55, F
I know who I am today, but I also know that I’m always learning so that’s subject to change. I like that I understand that, that I’m willing to do that, and today I like that so far I’ve been able to hold onto some pretty pleasant characteristics I like living with. I have some massive flaws that irritate the bejesus outta me as well, but I suppose that’s how it ought to be. Wouldn’t want to get bored. 😂

@JustNik There's always the learning factor. I like it. It means we're trying to better. The us now vs the us before.
I love Me. As I've gotten older, I'm very self aware, and very much in tune with my body, and what it can and cannot do. I have peace of mind, and I'm stronger having learned some painful lessons. I'm hopeful that I'll find someone who loves me as much as I do. If not, I'm good with it. ☺️

@DreamyCrush I don't think anyone in the world can love the way we do. I reckon I read that in a quote.

But I do hope we both can find people to love us for who we truly are.

@nightjourney I learned that confidence is actually gained through experience.

I am learning who I am and I believe I will continue to do so.
I am learning to love, accept and appreciate who I am.

Details, I find are irrelevant.
I like who I am, for the most part. I have my good points and bad, just like everybody else.

I know myself very well, just having spent so much time alone at this point.

And I don't mind aspects of myself but I've never liked myself much. Always my own worst critic and all that. :)
Casheyane · 31-35, F
@thepreposterouspanda Are you satisfied? If you don't mind me asking.
thepreposterouspanda · 36-40, M
@Casheyane Not particularly. :) At this point, I'm just ready for a new body haha.
Reject · 26-30, M
Sure, I like who I am. I like that I have enough decency to stay away from people.
Casheyane · 31-35, F
@Reject What sorts of people? Would you happen to have a support system?
Reject · 26-30, M
@Casheyane Everyone. I live alone and have a for a very long time. No support system.
Casheyane · 31-35, F
@Reject *pat on the back*

It'll get better. You deserve a support system too.

What's it to you?
RedBaron · M
@Casheyane No, I have been here about 2 1/2 years, since 12/8/19.
Casheyane · 31-35, F
@RedBaron Oh. Curious. So shouldn't you have seen that coming? Bad experience?

What are you here for if I may ask? Just passing time?
RedBaron · M
@Casheyane No, thanks.
lovingdead · 31-35, M
I haven't decided what makes me, me. Thus I do not think I know myself
Casheyane · 31-35, F
@lovingdead Hope you figure you out
LemonWorld · F
I dont because I am a very mean person
Casheyane · 31-35, F
@LemonWorld I don't know you. Even if I do, I don't think I can judge nor do I want to.

But if you feel you're mean, what I'm curious about are your intentions. Sometimes we have to be mean to help someone be better and see things differently. Like teaching a child what is right. So if I may ask, why are you mean?
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
I'm tired and I don't like it.

I like who I have become over the years of working on myself.

@Lostpoet Kinda same haha.

I mean i don't hate me. I'm my own friend. I learned it's one of the good thinga in life not many do. To be their own friend.

But I do feel I could be better.
