If My Soul Were An Animal

When people would ask "What is your soul animal?", I'd respond with something fierce and resilient like a wolf or a bear. Sometimes I'd even say a snake because they're cool but also representative of growth and rebirth.
But now, I think my soul is a pig.
A pig eats and sleeps and walks. A pig is sometimes playful - it likes to roll in the mud on a hot and rainy day.
But the pig has one main use - it's food. It's seen as unclean and filthy, and seen as unholy if used in a sacrifice.
An unholy sacrifice.
If my life is meant to be a sacrifice to God measured by how I live my life, then I would be an unclean and insufficient one.
I've already done so much wrong.
And I feel like I'm walking parallel to the lion I could be while it glares disdainfully back at me, disappointed in what I am.
