It takes two weeks to form a behavioral habit, about the same to undo the same. Start by an affirmation each morning to make a concerted effort NOT to lie today. Don't beat yourself up if you slip but embrace that you're being honest with yourself. That in itself is a huge gain.

Stop lying. You talk about it’s hard to change bad habits, 15 days is what it takes to build a new habit. It’s so much easier to keep things straight when you just stick to the truth.
