It's not easy and it won't happen overnight. You have to challenge your way of thinking. When you feel like someone is judging you, ask yourself "what if my assumption is wrong?" and "what evidence do I have that they are judging me?"

@Freetime if i do have evidence of them judging me....

@sahi81 Sadly, there will always be people who do judge others harshly. You can only try to be kind to them and hope that they will change - for their own sake.

I think the real problem for people like you and me who fear being judged is that we automatically assume everyone is doing it. That is the way of thinking that we have to challenge.

@Freetime yes everyone are different, not everyone can have same opinions about something. When everyone are judgemental, i think that can be considered toxic environment for example groupism and such things do happen in some places.

@sahi81 That is true. Do you at least have family that you feel safe with?
sahi81 · 22-25, F
@Freetime kinda yea... They help with money if i want to move somewhere else
Freetime · 56-60, M
@sahi81 So you are not close to them now?
sahi81 · 22-25, F
@Freetime i am.
sahi81 · 22-25, F
@Freetime sometimes they can be toxic though 😅
Freetime · 56-60, M
@sahi81 Did they say that they want you to move somewhere else?
sahi81 · 22-25, F
@Freetime no but if i ask, they are ok with my personal choice and also ok with providing money if i need for moving.
Freetime · 56-60, M
@sahi81 Do you have somewhere in mind to go?
sahi81 · 22-25, F
@Freetime UK or italy... I don't feel safe in india and india have lot to work on towards women rights and safety. I heard Italy is also conservative but not as much as india. If not possible to move to other country, I can go to highly developed areas in my own country than my area which is medium developed.

@sahi81 So you have to worry about your safety where you are now. That must be a hard way to live.
sahi81 · 22-25, F
@Freetime yes, not only safety but also cultural misogyny towards women. Culture here is aggressive towards women but slowly changing now a days. Safety when many people are around is not a problem, the problem is when less people are around or when alone.
sahi81 · 22-25, F
@Freetime yes,i feel suffocated due to cultural issues here
Freetime · 56-60, M
@sahi81 So are people judging you because you do not want to just accept your culture and live with the misogyny? Do they see your wanting to leave as being wrong?
sahi81 · 22-25, F
@Freetime some see leaving as wrong and some don't. Many seem jealous if i want to go to western or european country lol.

More people might judge me for my goals or culture can make it hard for me to remain child-free or try to date in my ways here, not impossible though.

Western or european countries are have more choices than try to fit into one box here.

@sahi81 Is there a lot of pressure for you to marry?
