Last 3 days I've been going to this big athletic center to train and I am finding a new and exciting extra motivation

So many hot young guys are running there and they are all so kind, smiling and willing to talk
lol
who would tell right? Things I would never see coming!!!

Now do not take me wrong! I absolutely focus on my training...just saying, it is enjoyable to be around that energy, as an extra motivation factor.

The space is huge, has a big football place, basketball, tennis, volleyball courts, running stadium and paths to walk and run. I have been going and training there for long, now and again, during my years of being here.

There, I had that first accident where I dislocated my shoulder for the first time and took about a decade to heal, with numerous dislocations taking place. I went there today, at that same place. I just said huh. And I did my training.

Then I did my Kung Fu walking, it looks really peculiar and some older men asked me if I am alright and if I need any help 🤭
Then a younger guy asked me why I am barefoot and I told him it's part of the Kung Fu training and he seemed so impressed buahah 😁

Training makes me happy.

@Bexsy thank you Bex... My life is changing all the time and changing so fast. And yes, I love it when I can find proper places for training. When that is missing, something isn't right.

How much time do you train for Kung fu?
Boeing · 36-40
@Babal so I don't have rules, I try to train as I feel, but usually say an hour, including few minutes of running/jogging in the beginning, warm up, practicing some form or repetitions of one movement, some kind of walking, stretching, and few minutes of relaxing walk or jump in the end.
Depending on the day, some days I can only do like 20 min if there is not much energy or time, some others I can go on for more than an hour, if I have that extra energy, then practice some kicks or hits at trees.
At times, when extra energy, I practice hanging upside down from trees and doing sit ups like that- :D..
But most days I train more casually, practice a form or two and do few repetitions of the form.
There are also static stances that I practice, like one leg standing, horse stance, variety of stances..
And then there is Qigong. I love that one..it is opening the body, enlarging its ability to hold higher energies. It is complementary to Kung Fu. Some days I practice that, or some periods.

@Boeing Thats a nice way to practise I would say.

@Babal it has evolved with me through the years. I begun training at 2014 and had few breaks, few months each time, some shorter, some bigger, but there is some consistency even if not training like an athlete, as I would like to be training:) But even like that, I am happy and satisfied!
Add the intense year in the shoaling Kung Fu school I've spent in China between 2023-2024.
