I Am Afraid of Failure

I want to blame my mother for this so much but its not her fault. My mother just wanted me to do my best but to sum it up anything less then an A was a failure to her. So I did just that and for some reason it has now become a crippling anxiety that will keep me from even trying because I don't want to fail. I have been working on this problem and maybe one day conquer it but today is not that day.
