Why would a male friend tell you that you would make a terrible wife because you're easily pressured into things?

Perhaps he was considering you as more than a friend..i.e a potential wife, but probably wasnt pleased with something about you

Has anyman ever complained about having a wife he could easily pressure into doing things for him? I'm not understanding.
